  • Today, we want to introduce you to Donna Allbrighton ✨ Known across the business for her impressive knowledge and experience on the factory floor, Donna joined our Wakefield site 16 years ago and has been a team leader for eight years. In 2017, Donna was diagnosed with an inflammatory lung condition called chronic obstructive pulmonary disease – also known as COPD. The limitations on her airflow made her extremely vulnerable when the pandemic hit in 2020. Donna came down with COVID twice as she was forced to navigate a host of new health challenges. After her second bout of COVID, Donna’s lungs began to function at 30% compared to their normal levels. Through time off and a planned transition back to work in the months that followed, Donna is now back full-time and hasn’t let her COPD slow her down. She recently completed her third apprenticeship with CCEP in Departmental Leadership and Management, to add on to her previous two in team leadership and mechanical/electrical engineering. Donna is also an active member of Wakefield’s Disability Awareness Group, and is working alongside colleagues to consider ways to create more accessible roles and spaces within the supply chain. We’re grateful to Donna for sharing her story, and for all she does as we continue to strive towards creating a more inclusive workplace. #WeAreCCEP #CCEPGB

Here are just a few highlights:   💚 Hoisted the rainbow flag at offices and sites across some of our markets to show support for our LGBTQ+ community   ❤️ Discussions and campaigns emphasising the power that allies have in creating an environment where every voice is valued    💛 Pride-inspired events to bring colleagues together and celebrate diversity across our business We embed the values of inclusion and allyship all year round, to make CCEP a place where everyone’s welcome to be themselves, be valued and belong.

We’re counting down to the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 tonight! We hope you’re as excited as we are.   As part of the Coca-Cola sponsorship of the Olympic and Paralympic games, our colleagues at The Coca-Cola Company have launched special cans that create an embrace when placed together. The project was done in collaboration with French artists, and is part of their “its magic when the world comes together” campaign. It celebrates the “Real Magic” of human connection and power of inclusivity.   If you’re lucky enough to be in France for the games - keep an eye out for the special edition cans!
