The result? 💥 Streamlines contract workflows, 💥 Reduces complexity, 💥 Enhanced visibility, 💥 More effective and efficient contract management, and 💥 More cost-effective operations. Read more about this unique offering in the LTH Product Briefing linked below, and make sure to scroll down to see the associated demo video. #legaltech #contracting #contractservices #corporatelegal Janet Taylor-Hall https://lnkd.in/e2ukXaM8

Today marks a pivotal moment in South Africa's history. On this day in 1956, more than 20,000 courageous women marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria, boldly protesting the oppressive pass laws of the apartheid regime. This march was a big step in the fight for women's rights. As we observe Women's Day, we celebrate the strong women of the past and those who continue to fight for fairness today. Happy Women’s Day to all the remarkable women who have shaped, and continue to shape, South Africa’s history and future! Happy Women's Day!

Recognising the need for well-rounded graduates, we recently organised a training session for students in Cognia’s mentorship program, run in partnership with the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter at our Cape Town office. The goal? To boost their employability and ease their entry into the job market. The session focussed on building essential soft skills and mastering the art of writing a great CV. Through interactive activities, students learned how to communicate effectively, understand professional etiquette, and create compelling CVs to meet industry standards.    This program is designed to not only prepare them for their careers but also instil the confidence needed to tackle the competitive job market after graduation. #futurelegalleaders #professionalgrowth #mentorship

Mandela Day is an annual global celebration that takes place on Nelson Mandela's birthday: 18 July to honour his life and legacy. This day serves as a call to action for individuals, communities, and organisations to reflect on Mandela’s values and principles and make a positive impact in their own communities for at least 67 minutes to commemorate the 67 years Mandela spent working for social justice. It’s a way to recognise Mandela’s commitment to human rights, conflict resolution, reconciliation, and his tireless efforts to promote peace and fight against poverty. This year, for Mandela Day, we dedicated our 67 minutes to a heartfelt soup pack initiative, packing 125 soup packs for U-turn Homeless Ministries in Cape Town, South Africa. Our team at Cognia came together, donating soup mix and rice to assemble these packs. These efforts will provide quick, nutritious meals and warmth to those in need during the winter. These were delivered to U-turn along with over R7500 worth of day-to-day essentials (toiletries, non-perishable foods, and sandwich ingredients) purchased earlier in the week to support the victims of the recent devastating floods in the greater Cape Town area.  Additionally, our annual boerewors roll sale brought much excitement! Cognians prepared and purchased this South African delicacy, with proceeds going to supporting our other ongoing CSR initiatives. This Mandela Day, we are reminded of Madiba's powerful words: "It is in our hands to create a better world for all who live in it." #MandelaDay
