A standout session today at the adaptTo() powered by diva-e was titled "Moving 40TB Assets from B to A - Nightly!", where Georg Henzler from Cognizant Netcentric walked us through an impressive and complex migration of a massive data set from a legacy system to Adobe Experience Manager (#AEM) #Assets. While the initial scope was expected to involve 40TB of assets, the final tally ended up being 28TB—still an enormous task by any measure. Georg walked us through two migration approaches, the one he needed to discard and the one he actually employed, just have a look at the slide 👀. Then he gave us an overview of using Dynamic Media with OpenAPI, with detailed comparisons and a wishlist at the end to make it even better :)
