🌍 Thank you to Talia Goldman and Kate Berry for representing Colpac at yesterday’s (FPA) Foodservice Packaging Association Environment Seminar! It was a valuable day hearing insights from industry leaders on the latest changes impacting our sector. As members of the pEPR Interim Scheme Administrator Steering Group, we’re actively engaged in shaping Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) initiatives, but the seminar offered fresh perspectives and feedback directly from our industry peers. Looking forward to the next event and continuing these important conversations! #FPA2024EnvironmentSeminar #Sustainability #EPR #CircularEconomy

In a recent feature in Packaging Insights magazine, Kate Berry, our Head of Marketing and Product, shared her thoughts on extending the shelf-life of packaged food. Kate discussed our packaging solutions which help to increase food shelf-life and reduce food waste. Options include pots with tight-fitting lids that prevent air ingress, our heat seal packaging, and our Modified Atmosphere Packaging which uses an inert gas mix to slow down food spoilage. 🥪🥗 🍛 Read the Packaging Insights article: https://bit.ly/4dSSzUn 👉 Or use the Packaging Selector on our website to refine your product search by longer and extended shelf-life: https://bit.ly/488HTzu #foodwaste #sustainability #foodpackaging

We are delighted that our ESG Director Talia Goldman had the opportunity to share her insights into sustainability and carbon reduction in Sustainable Packaging News recently. Designing recyclable food packaging from materials that fit with available waste streams has underpinned our approach for many years, and we now notice an industry-wide shift towards sustainability in the food-to-go sector. "Understanding how paperboard and fibre-based composites are recycled helps us to create packaging that is suitable for these processes, ensuring we continue to evolve and refine the recyclability of our food packaging." Talia Goldman.
