The Big Charity Challenge 2024 in October is a special week at Unipart Group where our teams across our 80+ sites raise funds for charities in their local communities. We have been doing this for years and it’s one of the most rewarding weeks of the year across our business. The Unipart Way is at the heart of everything we do, and respect is a core value that drives us. It’s a particularly special year - our 50th Anniversary - so the Executive Leadership Team will celebrate with our teams and communities through our ‘Walk & Talk 500 Miles Challenge’ 14-18 October. Our team of 11 have committed to walking at least 500 miles throughout the week with many of our colleagues at our sites across the UK. We will be replacing many internal team meetings with a walk and talk, supporting the importance of looking after our wellbeing, taking time to get to know our colleagues better and caring for our local environments by picking up litter on the way. For my part I will walk between our Technology sites as per the image! Plasters may be needed. For this we will be generating donations for Mind, the mental health charity.
