On Friday, PACTO held a successful community transport operator workshop event at Letterston Memorial Hall, which was attended by the First Minister for Wales, Eluned Morgan ✅ The event, titled 'Building Tomorrow: Our Pembrokeshire Community Transport Model', allowed us to get together to celebrate the milestone achievement of reaching 50,855 community transport passenger trips in the first year of our transformation project, which has been funded by the Motability Foundation and UK Government 🚐🚗 A key part of the day saw the various Pembrokeshire community transport operators come together for further engagement, discussion and collaboration on key issues, providing us with the opportunity for working together towards an agreed Pembrokeshire CT delivery model that focuses on passengers' needs and works together as one sector which is united, robust and future-proof 🔗 We would like to thank all of our guests, speakers and the CT operators for making the day a real success, and we look forward to continuing our work as we head into Year 2 of the project! 🤝 📸 Gareth Davies Photography Tenby Community Transport Association The VC Gallery Royal Voluntary Service Pembrokeshire County Council Cranfield Trust Hywel Dda University Health Board AWEL AMAN TAWE #WithYouOnYourJourney

Lara Henderson and Nicola Mitchell from our Scotland team had a fantastic visit to Glenfarg Community Transport Group for #CTWeek24. Every Thursday, different groups in the community come together to host an open coffee morning event, and it was GCTG’s turn just in time for CTWeek! 🍰🚐 Since launching in April 2023, the GCTG bus has made a huge difference, connecting the rural village with Perth, Kinross, Tillicoultry, and beyond. The team loved hearing about the positive impact it's having! ❤️ #CommunitySolutions #CommunityTransport

During #CTWeek24, Frances from our Northern Ireland team spent the afternoon at Disability Action Northern Ireland with Judith Andrews and Scott McClenaghan from the Department for Infrastructure. They had a valuable conversation about the DATS transport service and its crucial role in supporting disabled and older people across Northern Ireland. It’s always inspiring to see how community-driven solutions like DATS make a real difference! #CommunityTransport #CommunitySolutions
