We’ve published a letter to the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth for breaching Part 3 of the CMA’s Private Healthcare Order. Private hospitals are not allowed to provide referring consultants with incentives that may encourage them to refer or treat patients at that hospital, instead of to the most appropriate hospital for the needs of each patient. We’re reminding private hospitals and consultants to follow the rules on ➡️ patient referrals ➡️ incentives ➡️ transparency Any hospital that is in breach of the Order should inform the CMA immediately. Learn more about the breach and read the letter: https://lnkd.in/gpyDBBDf #privatehealthcare #privatehospitals
