Works are officially complete at The King's School in Chester 🏫 We used Lancastria LLP's insulated felt overlay for the flat roof, and Ash & Lacy Duotherm for the pitched metal elements. Throwback to the roof restoration of Somerford Booths Hall that we completed earlier this summer ⏪☀️ Originally built in 1612, this Grade II listed building is set in the beautiful Cheshire countryside and sits on a 5.9 acre plot. As part of the restoration, we were tasked with preserving the building's aesthetic and ensuring its long-term integrity. The scaffolding has come down on Parson Barracks meaning we can see the finished result in all its glory 🙌 This project required a complete roof strip with the installation of a cut-to-fall scheme.
