As part of CC&D’s ongoing investment in our future, we are excited to share our latest addition to the manufacturing floor, the state-of-the-art automated Liquid filling machine! This is a great addition to our existing liquid fill line and has improved the speed and efficiency of our liquid filling process. The new addition improves and streamlines the ‘washing’ of the vessels, pouring the liquid formulation, and securely adding the caps to various sizes and styles of bottles. This will also allow for larger fill volumes enabling us to supersize the products we offer. CC&D can fill diffusers, fragrance oils and room sprays. Three of the CC&D Sustainability Team had a great day yesterday attending the UN Global Compact Network UK Summit. It was great to hear other SME perspectives on #sustainability and know that we are all on the same journey together! We are proud to be flying the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals flag today to mark the 9th anniversary of the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals #SDGs . We are joining UN Global Compact Network UK for the 2024 SDG Flag Campaign to show we are #TogetherForTheSDGs . 17 goals that guide us to a more inclusive, just, and sustainable world by 2030!

September marks World Candle Month, a celebration established by National Candle Association (NCA) to bring to light the various ways candles enrich our daily lives and to promote the safe use of candles. This annual celebration, presented by the National Candle Association (USA) in partnership with ECMA - European Candle Manufacturers Association and ALAFAVE (Latin America) will light up the month of September.  The annual event brings together candle lovers from around the world and to promote global awareness of candle safety and the benefits of candles.  This year’s World Candle Month theme is "How do you Candle?” The National Candle Associations mission is to share information to promote the safe use and enjoyment of candles. We are thrilled to share some exciting CC&D news that we have introduced our latest addition to the manufacturing floor, the state-of-the-art automated candle filling machine! This remarkable technology represents a massive step forward in our quest for improved efficiency, scalability, and uncompromised quality.   We have conducted comprehensive tests to assess the versatility and capabilities of the equipment, ensuring that it meets and exceeds our expectations in delivering top-notch candles to our valued customers. With this automated candle filling machine, we are confident in our ability to respond to market demands promptly, consistently delivering superior products with enhanced efficiency. Some interesting figures about our new automated line, we can produce between 1,500 - 2,000pcs in one hour depending on the size and number of wicks. Our daily capacity is around 18,000pcs running a single shift. So far, we have poured over 2 million units in the first 14 months using the line!

As part of CC&D’s commitment to Sustainability and to hold ourselves accountable for achieving the goals we have set in our 5 year sustainability strategy, each year CC&D pull together a Sustainability Annual Report. This documents our Sustainability journey and tracks our progress to show where we are in reaching our goals and long term strategy. This is the second annual report produced by CC&D and we are proud to show the progress we have made over the past year. Some of our key highlights in 2023 include joining the United Nations Global Compact, installing solar panels on our Fernhurst Manufacturing Site and 2023 saw our Science Based Targets become verified and published by Science Based Targets initiative. As we get further along our sustainability journey we are again and again reminded of the importance of collaboration in the sustainability space. This is an ever evolving science and no one company has all the answers!
