🔧 Training at CPS This week, we had the pleasure of hosting ABB at our workshop for a hands-on training session with our staff. The purpose, to enhance our team's knowledge and skills on ABB’s range of Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs) and Moulded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs). 2025 started how 2024 was throughout. 🌟 Project Success: London-Based Water Authority 🌟 We’re proud to share details of a recent project delivered by CPS for a critical infrastructure client in London. System: Dual Mains and Generator Control System Controllers: ComAp controllers for two mains supplies Bus tie controller Two generators 🛠️ Key Features: We built in three modular panels, designed for flexible mounting across various locations and integrated these with an 18” HMI touchscreen. This provided our client with a complete system overview and seamless PLC interface with the site network. A comprehensive Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) was conducted at CPS before installation, ensuring the system was ready for optimal performance on site. A Memorable Customer Site Visit and some Great photos of beautiful Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Recently, our engineers embarked on a trip to the stunning Scottish Highlands to assist a customer near Gairloch, NW Scotland, following an emergency breakdown on a panel we supplied back in 2015. 🔧 The brief: Source parts, travel to site, and restore the system to full working order. Day 1: A 10-hour journey to site, navigating the rugged roads and unpredictable weather. Days 2-3: Two days on site, working through rain, snow, wind, and sunshine, to get the system back up and running. Day 4: A 10-hour journey - The Return While the trip was demanding, it wasn’t without its moments of awe.
