Recently had the final presentation as part of the Campus Based Professional Experience (CBPE) programme with Coventry University London. It was all about collaborating with the graduates around a real life business challenge, where they could use their academic knowledge and practical skills. Offering new perspectives and having an impact. Thanks to all involved and to Ash Coles and Samantha Cooper, MPA for shaping a positive journey! #collaboration #community #bettertogether #communityimpact #london #passionandpurpose #venuehire #local #eventspace #grassroots #business #entrepreneurship

Ash Coles, It's been such a pleasure to collaborate on the recent project with Coventry University London. A great programme that has so many benefits for all involved! Look forward to the continued partnership.
We saw a number of excellent 'Consultancy Projects' conclude in December at Coventry University London. A huge thanks to all of our participating employer partners who took the time to work with our students on applying their academic knowledge and practical skills to real-world projects. The projects ranged from Market Analysis, Financial Planning and Business Development. Students worked in groups to formulate strategies and undertake tasks in conjunction with weekly feedback from our partner clients. They then presented an overview of their completed work along with recommendations at the end of the eleven week programme. Sincere thanks to Daniel Aarons of Conveenie, Antony Wroe of Clothing Collective, Jason Russell of Eyeam, Aybulat (Ayub) Yanturin & Valentin Melnikov from Kuinji. #universities #employability #employabilityskills #employerengagement #worldofwork #consultancy Samantha Cooper, MPA Vanessa Nnachi-Uche Tanja Goudarzi Pour Folakemi Brown-Emodi Alid Kambwili MSc, ACCA, SFHEA, CMBE

Being a part of the Trampoline NH C.I.C startup support programme has already been tremendous. Feeling supported and connected with other local entrepreneurs working on projects that aim to benefit the wider community within the health, wellbeing and the social care sector. I had the opportunity as a guest on their podcast to share my story. You'll get to hear about how & where it all began, the things i've learnt along the way and a few helpful insights. The big one, is acknowledging when something feels uncomfortable and trying it anyway. Hope you enjoy, and leave any comments or thoughts that relate to your own experiences! https://lnkd.in/e6Qz7ZwW #community #bettertogether #entrepreneurship #communityimpact #southlondon #passionandpurpose #local #grassroots #socialvalue #events #venuehire

Proud to say I’ve been accepted onto the Trampoline NH C.I.C UKSPF: Startup Support Programme for Social Ventures in Health, Wellbeing and Social Care! With the induction at the vibrant The Africa Centre, it was a chance to meet the brilliant team running the programme, led by Claudine Bongo, and connect with the fellow cohort. A big part of starting a business is keeping up energy, accountability and building a network of like minded people. So being part of this is a privilege and already feel supported and connected to a community of entrepreneurs…where social value is core to them all. Thanks and look forward to growing together. #community #bettertogether #smallbusiness #communityimpact #southlondon #southwark #passionandpurpose #local #grassroots #socialvalue

Routine is important when creating a new business...but I realised that starting the week working from home wasn’t a good routine. So I’m making sure Monday’s are always out and about, meeting new hosts and venues. And getting inspiration and stimulus from the local environment that’s on tap. Since working on Conveenie I’ve realised how much wonderful street art is on our door step created by talented artists. I wanted to share and celebrate (Harriet Wood, fraser Muggeridge, Riccardo Matlakas, as it provides little moments throughout the day that spark a smile, a sense of appreciation and creates pops of colour and interest. Thanks, Daniel #streetart #community #bettertogether #communityimpact #SouthLondon #bermondsey #passionandpurpose #local #eventspace #grassroots HIVER BEERS LTD
