One of our fantastic home chefs Megan Treacy(House of Tasty) did the cooking for the shoot with some shots alongside our co-founders Dinesh Patil and Shabbir Mookhtiar. Cook My Grub was brought to life in the middle of the pandemic, where remote working and the entire family at home meant most didn't have enough time to cook fresh homemade meals. We started off with 8 chefs on our platform who helped provide our customers wholesome home cooked meals, this has now grown to over 300 chefs with our geographical footprint expanding to cover a much larger area across the South East. With plans to be nationwide by this summer, we are humbled by the overwhelmingly positive response we're getting from our new and existing customers. We are proud to offer healthy, authentic, fresh and guilt-free global cuisines on our online platforms and with the use of Meta tools we've been able to target our key customers and reach them through paid tools and organically, through our 'above-industry' repeat order rate, and continued high customer ratings. Flavers didn’t get the investment on Dragons’ Den but …. - We’ve had three consecutive days of record breaking sales - Signed up as many customers in 3 days as we did in our first year of trading - Had 149 social media agencies get in touch through every possible channel 🤔 - Covered by most of the mainstream press - Encouraging words from friends and family - More resolve and determination to ensure our mission succeeds - Multiple orders for all of our trading chefs including the more niche ones. Latvian or Sri Lankan cuisine anyone ? What an experience it’s been since the show aired. We shot this episode mid of last year and it’s been a long wait for the show to air.
