The trophy is awarded in memory of the two-time F1 World Champion to the British driver “with the most meritorious performance in single-seater racing.” Louis was given the award in recognition of his outstanding success in the 2024 Indy NXT Championship, where he achieved 8 wins and 12 podiums before securing the title with a race to spare.
