It was really refreshing to receive some recognition from Bodyshop Magazine (Plenham Ltd) for the safe repair standards we put in place way back in 2017, as many manufacturer customers, insurers and collision repair centres have experienced first hand with our training programs, we are safety first. Cornerstone Technologies Safe Repair Standards Training Program (CTSRSTP) continues to gather a strong following with circa 300 years of collective industry experience in the room and with a fantastic mix of delegates from the Automotive Industry including vehicle manufacturers, insurance engineers and collision repair centres all attending the Cornerstone Technologies 2 Day programme held in Milton Keynes. CTSRSTP is designed to promote safer, better quality and more sustainable repairs that are efficient, respectful of the planet 🌍 and affordable. Well done to all that attended and a special thanks to all that fully immersed themselves in the learning program both theoretically and practically. Highlights We could have metal finished the bonnet/hood repair whilst still retaining its original performance specification! Nice Team Effort on the MINI tailgate during the Push to Paint section too! What a great way to finish the week on Feel Good Friday! This review from a valued customer Mat Mellor A few key elements for people to note. Mat was advised to look at Cornerstone by a work provider, he could have refused and was well within his rights to! After all his team are already qualified and very experienced so what could they possibly learn? He investigated and then took a risk to invest in our Plastic Repair Training. Realising a return quicker than expected the ‘risk’ had paid off, he then invested in Push to Paint! He listened to advice and when the techs returned to work he interviewed and listened to them. This training has taught me otherwise. This will now save us and insurers money, now doing safer repairs, with a significant environmental impact.” “I learned what plastics I can now weld and the specific methods for safely repairing plastics as well as understanding thermo and thermosetting plastics.
