Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Sara Tremayne Taylor have partnered with St Michaels Resort to launch The GYLLY Dippers—a monthly swim and breakfast club for those looking to start their day with a refreshing twist. 🌊 For our November 2024 edition, we'll be heading to the beautiful Gylly Beach for a revitalizing swim, perfect for clearing your mind and preparing for the weekend. We'll meet at St Michael’s Resort at 8:30 AM before walking down to the beach for a brisk dip. Afterward, warm up with a delicious breakfast bap, served with tea, coffee, and water back at the resort. Cold water swimming offers a wealth of benefits, from improved circulation and enhanced mood to boosted immunity and pain relief—not to mention the chance to connect with like-minded souls. We ventured to North Cornwall today, to a new venue for us at the lovely St Moritz Hotel & Cowshed Spa . There was great energy in the room and some really meaningful conversations. Incredible food and service, thank you to everyone involved! Our co-host St Austell Brewery Karen Cocker talked about inclusion and how that should be embedded within every organisation and needs to be the norm. Ali Carnegie Total Energy Solutions spoke about his passion for mentoring young people and the importance and impact of intergenerational working. We also received an update from Simon Jones on the inspirational charity achievements 💫 Clive Kessell 💫around The Cornwall 500 (Huge kudos Steven Webb). As always, we love to hear your feedback!

Part of our commitment to our members is to constantly fight for Cornwall at every avenue. We’ve written to the Chancellor highlighting that Cornwall isn’t here as some Dickensian character looking for a handout, but as an investable economy ready to lead the shift towards an innovative, fairer, kinder and greener economy. ✌️John Brown
