    It's always a such a proud feeling whenever I do a case study call. I had so many raised eyebrows when we set up Cosmic 2 years ago. People where questioning why I was leaving a well paying career to set up a recruitment company. "But won't you be a recruiter". They didn't see the bigger picture... But we knew we were solving a BIG problem for SaaS companies. We knew that we could use our domain expertise to do hiring better. We had seen the challenges first hand. And we knew that Founders need more than just the hire. They need support and guidance throughout wrapped around the hire. They need a hiring partner, a fractional GTM expert, and a sounding board - all in one. Which just isn't possible without that domain expertise! So we set out to create a world class offering SaaS companies that were building commercial functions. And there is no better validation than when customers you have worked with exactly detail our your offering. And so it's videos like this from Gulsah the CEO of Quin AI that validate what we set out to do. Thank you Gigi! And that's what I love what we do. But it's still a pinch yourself moment whenever I hear customers say kind words! p.s I did post about working with Quin recently but I forgot to post the video (so here it is!)

Following substantial growth through Founder led sales and the Head of Commercial, it is now time to expand the team with an Enterprise Account Executive. I'd love to hear from you if you have: - At least 4 years experience selling complex solutions to senior stakeholders with a 6 figure ACV. Bonus if you have experience in data, supply chain or manufacturing proven by either education or experience. - Willingness to travel internationally - a lot of interest is generated through events and deals are closed by meeting clients' on-site and seeing their production facilities. - Been professionally trained in known sales frameworks such as MEDDICC or Challenger. It is now time to bring in a Sales Director to act in a player-coach capacity to help achieve ambitious growth targets. Our client is a digital SaaS platform incorporating patented diagnostic tests. They are on a mission to screen 150 million people and prevent 30 million long-term diseases. I'd love to hear from you if you have: - Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B software sales environment. This includes creating a structured process for managing customer accounts, maximising value, and enhancing renewal rates. - Previous experience working at an early stage company with long enough tenures to show traction in the role. - Exposure into a healthcare, medical or life sciences background, proven by either work experience or education. - Experience working with the senior leadership team to further refine the ICP and create market segments for tailored approaches. - Strong background in developing and growing sales teams - important to be able to nurture reps whilst also keeping high performers motivated.     New founding SMB AE role! Selling HR technology. Our client is a marketing leading people-data science company specialising in helping small-to-medium businesses understand fair compensation for current and new employees. Their technology works by connecting to their existing HRIS and cross referencing salary details across millions of job postings, industries, job roles and countries. With some initial signs of success through a product-led-growth motion. It is now time to scale the team with an Account Executive to work with the CEO (Founder) and COO on new client acquisition. I'd love to hear from you if you have: - 2 years experience as a strong SDR where you have taken an outbound approach to filling the pipeline with qualified opportunities. - At least 18 months of full-cycle closing experience - bonus if you have sold HR-tech. Very important to stick to your qualification framework to avoid wasting time. - A structured and value-based approach to sales - bonus if you have been training in SPIN, MEDDICC, Challenger or similar. Due to their state you will also need to be: - Extremely adaptable, the client are in the early stages of building there sales function and will be trying different methods to find the best route to success. - A self-starter and proven track record in an early stage start-up. They are aiming to massively increase the screening and treatment of cardio, metabolic and renal diseases in under 10 minutes - drastically increasing the health of the nation. I'd love to hear from you if you have: - At least 3 years of strong closing experience in a complex deal environment carrying a quota of £500k+ - some technical understanding of public sector buying processes is a bonus. - A strong track record of performance against quota, including selling £40k+ opportunities with a 3+ month deal cycle. - A proven track record in an early stage start-up. They have seen enormous growth since their launch 3 years ago. So we are helping them build out the sales function. They have been 100% inbound so far! And it's now time to bring in an experienced SDRs to join the team and work directly with the CRO and new SDR Manager to increase pipeline generation.     When hiring for a sales role in a startup. Startup sales experience is key. It’s always been a non negotiable for me. I've done these roles myself, and seen first hand the challenges! I speak to so many founders at Pre-Series A stage that have hired a sales person from a massive company and it hasn’t worked out. The thing is, they are completely different roles. Personally I believe that you have to hire early stage sales specialist. You need to find the people that have: - Done outbound from a company no one has ever heard of… - Had limited marketing - Worn multiple hats in the business - Helped figure out PMF - Been involved in building the early playbooks You also have to love working for early stage companies. They aren't for everyone. But it's where the best learnings are! So don't just looking at that sales person because they have worked at a big company in your space. Hire for where you are today and hire the people that can sell at your stage.
