About us
Court Collaboration is a Birmingham based residential property developer, started in 2010 on Colmore Row, the company has established itself as Birmingham’s premium developer, delivering over 1,000 residential units in the city to date. The business manages all aspects of the development process from initial land search and acquisition, to planning, construction project management and delivery. In 2022 the business started construction of Birmingham’s first skyscraper; “One Eastside” in a £200m forward fund development deal comprising 667 BTR units with Pension Insurance Corporation. One Eastside is one of the largest institutional BTR forward funding deals in the UK. The business also has a large portfolio of projects in planning and pre-construction including its £180m joint venture with PGIM Real Estate, one of the largest global real estate funds in the world. PGIM’s private equity fund backed Court Collaboration in 2022 and provided the equity for the 46 storey, 581 unit Brindley Drive development. Elsewhere in the city Court has delivered successful projects with Moda Living, KKR and Top Capital Group and is the largest importer of FDI into Birmingham over the last 12 years. In 2020 Court partnered with property tycoon Sir Tony Gallagher in a £100m joint venture deal unlocking strategic brown field BTR development sites in Birmingham. The business has a robust pipeline of residential sites comprising a further 3,000 BTR units across 4 strategic sites in the city, these projects are currently working their way through the planning and pre-construction phase. Reaching for the sky – Birmingham City University students to receive mentoring from Court Collaboration, the developers behind Birmingham's tallest building. Five quantity surveying students at Birmingham City University (BCU) will take their careers to new heights thanks to the award-winning company building Birmingham’s tallest skyscraper. Court Collaboration, which is constructing the 155-metre tall One Eastside on James Watt Queensway, will advise and guide the quintet to help prepare them for the workplace. “We’re extremely proud to be launching this student mentoring initiative as part of our ongoing partnership with BCU,” said Court Collaboration CEO Alex Neale. “It’s an honour to help nurture some of the next generation of professionals in this way.” Read the full article to find out more:

Today we took our office team meeting on tour to one of our local projects at One Eastside. This is a project that MGAC have worked on since its inception and it was amazing to see construction in full swing. It was an interesting time to view progress with approximately 250 operatives on-site and the apartments at various stages of development as we moved down the building. The slip form core is currently up at 47 stories, so it won’t be long before the building tops out as the tallest building in Birmingham at 51 stories (155m). A big thank you to Ed Biddle and Gavin Gill from Midgard Ltd for showing us around the building! MGAC are providing #ProjectManagement, #CostManagement and #CDMPrincipalDesigner services for this project and multiple other high-rise projects. Court Collaboration #skyscraper

Despite the weather, it was an absolute pleasure showing Cllr Sharon Thompson, JP, Simon Delahunty-Forrest and Nicholas Jackson around One Eastside earlier this week with Midgard Ltd and Alex Neale. The frame is currently at 42 storeys, and it wont be long before it tops out at 51 storeys to become the tallest building in Birmingham.
