Thank you to everyone who attended the ColegauCymru | CollegesWales exhibition last Thursday! 🙌 The event offered a valuable opportunity to reflect, network, and most importantly, look to the future together. As we embrace the transformational changes ahead in the governance and delivery of post-16 education in Wales, it's vital that we continue these conversations. The conference also provided a great platform for us all to consider what Wales will need from its colleges in the future, and how we can collectively address the changing skills demands brought by global megatrends. 🌍💡 Looking forward to seeing how we all move forward together! Over the past few days, University of Wales Trinity Saint David staff from various departments have been put through their paces on the use of the Autodesk Fusion platform. The group was made up of people with all varying experience, some totally new to the design and manufacture platform, others just looking to hone their skills on some of the more advanced features of the software. The team have covered subject areas such as 3D modelling, Generative design and model simulation and analysis. We have all gained a lot of skills and knowledge and look forward to putting these into practise over the coming months. This is the 1st of many planned sessions in the future. Massive thanks to Steve Cox for delivering this high level training and also to Iwan Roberts and Autodesk for making this happen. Thanks to you all on behalf of the team. It is always a good choice, investing time and effort in staff development, ensuring we have the relevant skill set to deliver the highest level of education and address the ever changing Industry challenges ahead of us.
