Bunning's Warehouse Rave: The Power of Sonic Branding, or Why Your Brand Needs a Sound... Did you hear about the Bunning’s Warehouse Rave this weekend? Yeah. A rave at Bunning's Warehouse... What's the story? Well, every Australian knows the Bunning’s jingle, it’s been around for decades. Without even knowing it, people have developed a relationship with the brand through their sound. So when Sydney DJ Kaila dropped a cheeky DnB remix of the iconic tune as a joke, the memesphere took the reins did the rest. Soon, people were demanding a warehouse rave, and Bunning’s wisely jumped at the opportunity. What’s more, other huge brands started reaching out to offer their support, including Smith’s, JBL, Uber, and Heaps Normal. And on August 31, 2024 in Preston, Melbourne. The Bunning's Warehouse Party was born. One off-the-cuff organic post from a creator engaging with a brand sonic snowballed into a massive event for over 1,000 people.
