Sometimes having 2 hours for yourself and focusing on your writing is difficult! Life gets in the way, emotions get in the way, and thoughts get in the way. This is why we organise this write club (a fight club for writers:)) every Wednesday morning. Two hours not more not less. someone called it: the best accountability group for writers:) The next one is on Wednesday 24th.. in case you were asking:) https://lnkd.in/erceU-zv
🌐 Coworking Strategist & Creator | I help coworking spaces go from undiscovered to unstoppable – Follow to see what works! 👻
✍️ I'm in London next week and will be at the Creator Write Club session at Creative Works Space with Elena Giroli. Arrive from 09:30 am. We kick off at 10 am. We have just moved platforms to Luma and are regrouping there. ✍️ How does Creator Write Club work? In our experience, magic happens when small groups of people meet informally to collaborate and discuss their work. We've been meeting in London's indie coworking spaces since 2008. Every week, creators, authors, freelancers, academics, YouTubers, comedians, parents, marketers, bloggers, developers, event managers, journalists, activists, musicians, poets, lawyers, sailors and other independent self-starters meet to support each other. We welcome beginners and long-term pros - don't be shy! I must shout out that Creator Write Club will be a big part of European Coworking Day in London and is fueled further by The Belongfulness Project. See you there! Where is Creative Works Space? It's only a minute's walk from Blackhorse Road Underground & Rail Station. Thirteen minutes to King's Cross on the Victoria Line and 17 minutes to Oxford Circus.

The Freelance Ritual is a weekly workshop to celebrate your achievements, clarify your challenges and plan your next week. Adam Ellison and I have pulled together our experience of freelance life and gathered insights from freelancing colleagues to create a space for reflection and planning. We know life as a freelancer can be up and down. Stressful and overwhelming when busy, then unnerving and unfocused when things get quiet. On top of that it gets lonely. The Freelance Ritual is a regular, dedicated time for freelancers to come together, pause, reflect and set their intentions for the week ahead. It sounds simple, but this powerful act of giving yourself permission to slow down, see your patterns, challenges and successes, will enable you to gain perspective and make the changes you need. Think of it as a self-care ritual for your work life, where you take the time to think about the things you have achieved, using this to motivate your next steps. Rather than living in the stress of the problems you’re yet to solve. I will guide you through a mix of reflective and conversation based exercises. Your focus will be on you and your business, so you'll come out of each workshop feeling energised, clear on your next steps, and empowered to take action. Being part of this small group of freelancers means there are plenty of opportunities to share and learn from each other too. In the 90 minutes you will: 1. Disconnect from your day-to-day 2. Reflect on your work 3. Champion your achievements 4. Clarify your challenges 5. Plan your week ahead We decided to run it as a 4-week programme to help you form a new habit and embed it in your routine. If you miss a session, you’ll still be able to do the reflective exercises in your own time. The details Fridays from 10am to 11.30am, at Creative Works Space (Blackhorse Road E17) Workshop dates: 3, 10, 17 & 24 May £99 for 4 sessions Here’s the link to sign up! Get in touch if you have any questions. https://lnkd.in/eQCzxKxX
