Or did you formerly work for either fire and rescue service and left after 1 June 2021?  The Independent Culture Review into Mid and West Wales and North Wales Fire and Rescue Services wants to hear from you. The online survey and written submissions for both Mid and West Wales and North Wales Fire and Rescue Services are still open. The Review encourages anyone who meets the criteria to take part – but we want to hear from more on-call firefighting staff in particular. Expressions of interest for interviews and focus groups in North Wales Fire and Rescue Service will open at the end of September. Expressions of interest for interviews and focus groups in Mid & West Wales Fire and Rescue Service have now closed. Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service have jointly appointed Crest Advisory to facilitate an independent cultural review. Today we are pleased to announce that we are partnering with the City of London Police to research online fraud against children and young people aged 10 to 21 in England and Wales. Our research intends to develop the overall understanding of online fraud against young people and will subsequently help us establish a clear action plan. As part of the third phase of our research we are looking to conduct interviews with children and young people who have been a victim of online fraud between the ages of 10 and 21. For the purpose of the research, we consider online fraud as a trick or lie committed using technology to steal money or personal information. What will we do with the answers provided in an interview? The answers may be published in our report on how best to protect children and young people from online fraud but all of the answers will be completely anonymous.  This means that readers of our report will not be able to link what was said in the interviews to the specific individual.
