An innovation in drought resilience, rooted in biology

About us

CroBio is a soil regeneration company using biotechnology to prevent crop loss from drought conditions. Our living soil amendment forms a symbiotic relationship with roots and produces a sponge-like environment to better hold water and nutrients for crops. We’re on a mission to improve the resilience of crops and farmers by transforming soil. We believe the future of farming is made possible through biological aid, empowering farmers to withstand drought and keep growing, year after year.

CroBio® is at the forefront of the fight against drought – a challenge that the entire world is facing. Just last week – The Biden administration announced a $400 million investment scheme, aiding farmers across the Western United States in the fight against conserving water. This "historic funding” is expected to conserve some 50,000 acre-feet of water that would have been used across 250,000 acres of irrigated land. “Agricultural producers are the backbone of rural communities across the West and many of them are struggling under prolonged drought conditions. [The] USDA is taking an ‘all hands’ approach to help address this challenge, including these new partnerships with irrigation districts to support producers.” CroBio welcomes this commitment, and we’re ready to assist US farmers in the fight against drought. 💧 Read more below! https://lnkd.in/eeady5Ex

Last week - we were invited to take a look around the AYA Earth Partners Hub in São Paulo - the first and largest business ecosystem dedicated to accelerating Brazil’s regenerative and zero-carbon economy. This innovative hub creates a space for Brazil’s game-changing, climate-tech disruptors to meet, collaborate and connect - all with the aim of working towards Brazil’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2030. As #CroBio seeks to establish itself and expand within South America, we look forward to working alongside the many individuals and exciting companies leading the way in revolutionising climate-tech. 🌿
