This World Menopause Day we are sharing information about the menopause, its symptoms and treatment options. Menopause occurs when hormone levels lower and your periods stop as a result. Mr Amer Raza, Consultant Gynaecologist, recently hosted a comprehensive robotic surgery course for external consultants at Cromwell Hospital, showcasing both hysterectomy and endometriosis procedures live from our new theatre. The course was held in collaboration with Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where 16 delegates from across the UK gathered for morning lectures, before joining us for an afternoon of watching live surgery by Mr Raza. Mr Raza is an Intuitive proctor and as part of this role also runs an observers learning program. Thank you to Mr Raza and our staff for their hard work making this course a success.
