Crossman Acquisitions Ltd has that Friday feeling! Today we have secured planning permission for the redevelopment of Christchurch Hall in Clifton to provide a new 3,700ft2 office space for the Crossman Group along with 9 stunning apartments. 🏢✅ The Grade II listed building really is a hidden gem. At 9,500ft2 the building was originally a warehouse, and has since been used for a variety of uses including Massive Attack's recording studio and more recently by the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Our proposals include the sensitive enlargement and refurbishment of the building and which will also include the new office and residential fit-out. On a personal note we are incredibly proud of this scheme. Establishing our new Bristol HQ in the heart of Clifton is a fantastic and important milestone for the Crossman Group. 🚨🚨 HIRING 🚨🚨 An exciting opportunity has arisen at Crossman Group within our finance team. We are looking for someone to support the team in a newly created Purchase Ledger role. Responsibilities include inputting supplier and subcontractor purchase invoices on Eque2 Construct, sending remittances, collating creditor payment runs, checking supplier statements and ongoing liaising with the team. This role is suitable for someone with experience in bookkeeping, purchase ledger and CIS. Experience using Microsoft Office, Sage and Eque2 Construct is beneficial. This is an office-based role for 8 to 12 hours per week, on a competitive rate. Some flexibility is possible. This position is offered on a freelance basis or a fixed-term contract to the end of the year. There are future opportunities available for a permanent contract based in Bristol from 2026. We are very pleased to announce that Crossman Acquisitions Ltd has secured this 13 hectare site on the settlement edge of Street, Somerset. The site will be brought forward for approximately 80 dwellings, with the remainder of the site, circa 10 hectares, being developed as a phosphate and BNG credit bank. This will be a really exciting development, and not only will it help meet the urgent need for housing in the area, but through the delivery of significant phosphate and BNG credits, will help unlock other development in the locality.
