Just in from the ONS: Manufacturing and public sector salaries on the rise. The latest salary release highlights again that pay growth has slowed, however earnings continue to rise faster than inflation. Manufacturing is leading the pack with the highest pay growth for two quarters in a row. And the public sector salary growth is outpacing the private sector for the 7th consecutive quarter. ❗ Survey just in: more candidates say they’d prefer a job in the public sector than the private sector. Is the labour market at a turning point? Can public sector take advantage?
