For the last six consecutive weeks it's Asda that's worked out as the most expensive of them all, cementing that position last week with a 13 per cent price hike of its chicken breasts and an overall bill of £12.78. It retains that position this week, with the price still £2.65 for the 300g pack, which is 18 per cent more than almost every other supermarket is charging. https://lnkd.in/et7twr6u

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) will soon issue its annual Christmas bonus to millions of people claiming certain benefits. The bonus is worth £10 and is paid automatically, which means you don't need to put in a claim to get it. It is tax-free and does not affect any other benefits you're claiming. The bonus is normally paid to everyone who is eligible at the start of December. There is no set date for when it will arrive. https://lnkd.in/eeUbP3EU

Martin Lewis has issued an urgent warning for Britons earning less than £35,000 per year as they could be eligible for a payout worth nearly £6,000. The money-saving guru has embarked on a mission to ensure that workers are aware of every possible type of financial assistance they could receive from the government, with Universal Credit offering a vital lifeline for those earning less than the national average, or right on the line. https://lnkd.in/eQ6EJ4Cy
