Automatic alerts can help you keep on top of your business’s finances, giving you tailored, up-to-date information. You can set these alerts up in the Notification Centre in District. Here’s how to set them up: 1. Click ‘Contact & Help’ on the top right of the menu bar and select ‘Notification centre’. 2. Select ‘Create subscriptions’ and then, for example, ‘Accounts’ and whichever subsequent alert type you want - Payments, Trade Finance or eArchive. 3. Select the type of notification you’d like to receive, for example, ‘Balance information’ and the specific account it relates to. 4. Choose how often – for example daily – the time of day, and how – for example, by email or text message – you’d like to receive the alerts. 5. Select ‘Activate’. We’ll send you a text to confirm that your alert has been set up. Any alerts you create are listed under ‘Subscriptions’ in the top menu bar, and you can manage these at any time. Be sure that your mobile number and email address are up to date too, to make sure you get the notifications (you can check and update these under ‘Profile and Settings’). We’ve published our financial results for the first nine months of 2024, reporting a profit before tax of £160.4 million. Our CEO Vicky Davies said: “A robust financial performance means we are well positioned to continue to support customers when they need us. Even though inflation has been falling and economic conditions have been improving, we remain very conscious that customers are still facing cost of living challenges. “We are staying close to our customers, providing assistance where it is needed, whilst continuing to help businesses pursue growth opportunities and people buy or move home. “In the first nine months of the year we backed the Northern Ireland business community by providing over £490 million in business lending approvals. “We have opened over 1,000 new small business accounts so far this year, and are currently offering two years fee-free transaction banking to small businesses if they switch to Danske Bank and open a small business digital account. “Mortgage lending has remained resilient, supported by a sustained demand for housing in the marketplace, decreasing interest rates and low unemployment levels. “We also opened over 13,000 new personal current accounts in the first nine months of 2024, an increase of around 60% year-on-year. “Looking ahead Danske Bank will continue to be a key enabler of economic growth across Northern Ireland, with a clear purpose centred around helping customers, colleagues and society to thrive.” You can read the full press release here: https://lnkd.in/eFzZWdSN
