Too broad to be useful? Too narrow to work on the right thing❓ In our 8x100 call, we dive into the superhuman and everyday task of working on projects aiming for systemic change: Ever struggled with implementing a concept that made it hard to relate (and were annoyed by the fuzzy language…)❓ Or felt frustrated when an implementation lacked conceptual rigor (and were tired to point out the elephant in the room…)❓ 💥 Friday, November 8th 2024, 2 p.m. CET📌 Register here: https://lnkd.in/eg8RdYWi This tension appears on many levels – the missing capacity to reach sustainable development goals, or the European plans for the built environment ignoring the carbon budget are systemic examples. We also see those tensions surfacing in our organisations. Roles we take on make us inclined to one or the other dimension – which might be part of the problem… While leaders and innovators often need to think broadly and explore new opportunities, researchers and producers focus on the details, working hard to turn big ideas into reality. Our initial assumption is that we need to make those roles and their relations explicit. How can these roles interact with graceful rigor, inspiring each other❓ How can we move beyond their binary relationship and equally celebrate conceptual* and implementation* work❓ Join us in exploring how to address blind spots in systemic change processes. It’s not about having the answers but discovering useful perspectives together. _______________ *Acknowledgement: We haven’t yet found the right language to express these perceived dichotomies in a satisfactory way: 🔸Concept & Implementation 🔸Imagination & Viability 🔸Theory & Practice 🔸Abstraction & Reality Looking forward to your suggestions! _________________________________________ #MacroShifts #MicroActions #AgileAlliance #10x100 #DemocratisingTransformation #MicroMacroDeal
