It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our Chairman, David Coffer, who passed away on 24th August, after an inimitably strong battle with illness. Referred to as “Mr Leisure” by his peers, David established the leisure sector’s first dedicated advisory business and remained at its vanguard during a career that spanned over 50 years. Founder and President of the Restaurant Property Advisors Society and a Fellow of the RICS, his contribution to leisure and hospitality property has been immense and influential. He was a true pioneer and an inspiration to us all, and we valued his insight, wisdom and compassion. Whilst he will be deeply missed, we will move forwards upholding our shared values of integrity, passion and professionalism, and with great pride in the business that he created. We would like to thank our clients and friends of the firm who have sent so many kind messages and fond recollections.
