We had a lovely afternoon yesterday at the Hambleton & Richmond MNDA support group at Strikes in Northallerton. We were delighted to be able to hand over a cheque for £3,500 towards area support for this group. This is a group of people that are close to Dean & Christine’s heart as they have offered so much personal support to them. We came away feeling very uplifted and good conversations and connections were had 💙🧡 Hopefully see you all next month 🙏

One year ago today Dean was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. Whilst this is not an anniversary we feel like celebrating it is a milestone that we would like to acknowledge. The last 12 months have seen a range of incredible emotions and some massive highs and some extreme lows for Dean, Christine and their family. However in that year they have set up this foundation and made a huge impact on the MND Community. With over 50k raised in just the last 3 months of events this is just the start of what we can do to support similar people like Dean & Christine going through this 🙌🏻 So far we have been able to support a project giving MND Sufferers access to therapy in the North East, in addition to financial support to support groups in the North East and the North West of England. MND is a cruel disease 💔 We will continue to do all we can to raise awareness, offer support and do what we can to increase the support of research into a cure. Keep supporting where you can, you make such a big difference 🙏 💙🧡

On the 28th June, 12 golfers took on the challenge of playing 3 courses in 3 countries in 24 hours. They did all this in the name of our foundation and because they are inspired by Dean Fox their friend 🙌 This was finished with a golf day in Preston and a dinner. They raised a phenomenal £8362 that day to support people going through MND. Steven Logan Dan Sumner Ben Cooper you guys are incredible. We can’t thank you enough for what you did to make this happen ♥️ A special mention for Steven J Innes too who put on a raffle and donated auction prizes. We know a lot of people did special things that day but your friendship and love of Dean & Christine stood out to them 🙏 We have already donated 50% of the funds raised to the MNDA and they will split it equally between the support groups in the Preston area and the North East. That day will live long in our memories and we can’t thank you enough for what you did to raise so much money but also the love for Dean, Christine and their family.
