About us
The Decarbonisation Net Zero Programme in association with Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) supports businesses in Birmingham, Solihull, Coventry, Black Country and Warwickshire save energy, reduce water and waste consumption, cut costs and make the most of low carbon opportunities. We provide energy efficiency and environmental grants as well as free support to help identify where energy, water and waste savings can be made. Coventry City Council is delivering the Decarbonisation Net Zero Programme across Coventry and Warwickshire as part of the Business Growth West Midlands in collaboration with Aston University (Birmingham and Solihull) and Black Country Consortium (across Black Country).💡 In addition organisations can join the Green Business Network which allows businesses to come together, share ideas and promote energy efficiency. The network is free to join and open to any business. Harry Burrows Fabrications Limited, based in Exhall, have been awarded a £100,000 grant from the Warwickshire Business Energy Advice Service (WBEAS) delivered by Warwickshire County Council. The business also benefited from a FREE energy audit delivered by Coventry City Council The grant contributed to the purchase of a new state-of-the-art laser cutter, allowing this family-run business to fulfil growing demand while slashing energy consumption. 💡 £24,750 grant. £10,000 savings. 10 tonnes of carbon reduced. Loco Supermarket, based in Coventry, have been awarded a £24,750 grant from the Decarbonisation Net Zero Programme. The grant will help fund the installation of a solar panel system that will power all of the supermarket’s operations. This family-owned business has been serving the community for over 35 years. Thanks to this investment, they will save over £10,000 every year on energy bills. They’ll also reduce their carbon emissions by more than 10 tonnes annually! In addition, Loco supermarket received a £6,500 Business Support Capital grant to upgrade their fridge doors.
