We’ve launched 4 best-selling books on business, won major awards and raised more than £450,000 for charities around the world. Our vision is to see a world where entrepreneurial teams are solving more meaningful problems. We believe that many businesses are standing on a mountain of untapped value and they have lost perspective on how to make the biggest impact. We know that less time struggling creates the capacity for people to deliver more value to the world. In addition to accelerating business success, we aim to inspire more companies to support the UN Global Goals through giving and innovation. “You are standing on a mountain of value. Your story, your experiences, your insights and your ideas are the key to your growth.” - Daniel Priestley.

Last week I was in Newcastle speaking at conference. My presentation was about how to become oversubscribed and get people lining up to do business with you. The feedback has been really positive. That's why I've decided to host an online event this week on the same topic. I've opened up a couple of time slots... https://dent.global/event #event #workshop #oversubscribed

Pitching is one of the most important things you can do as an entrepreneur. The entrepreneur journey is a journey of a thousand pitches... Regardless of how great your product or service is, if you don’t have an amazing pitch, people will always struggle to recognise your value. There are 8 elements that go into a winning pitch: Clarity, Authority, Problem, Solution, The Why, Opportunity, Next steps, and Essence or Emotion. This spells out CAPSTONE: 1. Clarity: Make sure your audience understands and remembers you 2. Authority: Why should your audience listen to you? 3. Problem: What problem needs solving for your customers, or for the world? 4. Solution: How does your product or service solve that problem? 5. The ‘why’: Why are you doing this? Why should your audience back you? 6. Opportunity: How can your audience get involved? 7. Next steps: What is the next thing you want your audience to do after listening to this pitch? 8. Essence & emotion: Inspire the feeling you want to leave your audience with. Have you nailed your pitch? Or are there any of these areas that you need to work on?

Many believe that starting and running your own business is unpredictable and risky... However our experience of working with thousands of entrepreneurs across the globe has taught us that it's actually very predictable, providing you follow the right process. There are 9 key steps that we've found essential for starting and scaling a successful business. Many business owners focus on steps 1-4 (and often in the wrong order), but it’s only when you get to steps 5-9 when the magic really happens. 1. Concept - The answer to the question "What is the business and why should I care?" 2. Audience - Build a small group of people who have signalled interested in your concept. 3. Offer - Develop a compelling package of products/services that solve a problem for people in your audience. Produce the supporting collateral so people can understand the value you are presenting to them. 4. Sales - A repeatable process to sell your offer to your target audience. 5. Pitch - The ability to clearly articulate your value to groups of people and enrolled them into a new way of thinking or behaving. 6. Publish - Publishing content that appeals to your target audience that is freely available online or in the authority building format of a book. 7. Product - Launch a product ecosystem where clients can buy multiple products from you at different price points. 8. Profile - if someone were to Google your name do you show up as trustworthy and credible? 9. Partnerships - Do you have strong relationships with those who have a similar audience to you? Have you hit each of these 9 steps?

"Somebody woke up this morning with the resources that you want" Rather than trying to find more time, money or knowledge yourself, why not partner with someone who has it?

Somebody woke up this morning with the resources that you want... Think about what your business needs right now: - Money - Contacts - Fame - Knowledge - Time - Credibility Rather than trying to find more time, money or knowledge, why not partner with someone who already has it? Here's an example of a partnership method you can use in your business. It's called the Magic Triangle and brands like Nespresso used this perfectly. - George Clooney has the fame and audience they want - Magimix creates reliable, time-tested products - Selfriges can manage the distribution Small businesses can do this too, as long as you accept you don't have all the answers. What areas of your business do you need the most help with? And is there someone out there with the thing you want? #partners #partnererships #business

Did you know, over 2/3 of businesses in the UK, USA, and Australia never reach the point where they can employ additional staff? The majority of businesses get stuck in what we call the Wilderness, where 1 or 2 founders are operating solo, forced to wear multiple hats. They struggle to stand-out in a noisy market and to make enough sales. This often leads to stress, boredom, and a seemingly unbreakable cycle of challenges. The good news is, it's easy to get out of the Wilderness if you have the right strategy. Join Daniel Priestley for a live workshop next week to learn our proven methodology to stand out as the go-to person in your industry, and escape the Wilderness once and for all. 🔗 Follow the link in our profile to secure your spot We look forward to seeing you there!

Have you fallen into the common trap of thinking you can run a business by yourself? Business is a team sport. When people succeed in business, you can bet there's a team of people working together to achieve results. ㅤ Statistically, a person working on their own is about 60% as effective as they would be in a small team. An average self-employed 'solopreneur' makes $120K a year, whereas a team of 3 will make closer to $600K in revenue. That’s almost double the revenue per person. Yet many entrepreneurs fall into another trap, assuming that as the revenue grows, the team should grow too. That's not always the case. You need to ensure you look for key milestones first, so you don't end up with a bloated, unsustainable business. We've worked out perfect method for building a team from startup right through to exit, and we learned it from the British army. They’ve perfected the formula for building teams after 400 years of facing the hardest challenges imaginable and conducting HR experiments along the way. Here's a simple guide as to when to hire and why: Step 1 - The 2-person "scout team" You and another person should test the market and the idea to see if it will work. The two big questions are - Can you sell it? Can you deliver it? Step 2 - The 4-person "fire team" Launch your product or service and validate your idea in the real world. A four person team can run campaigns, grow revenue and keep happy customers. Step 3 - The 8-12 person "section: Create a stable lifestyle business with a Key Person of Influence, a salesperson, a marketing person, operations, admin, tech, finance and media. The goal of a lifestyle business is more fun, freedom and flexibility, and many people decide this is their ultimate goal. Be careful going beyond 12 people because bigger teams require a lot more leadership and management that you typically can't afford until you get to... Step 4 - 30 people+ "platoon" (not necessary or desirable for most entrepreneurs) If you want to run a performance business, you will have a leadership team who manage their own departments. The goal of a performance business is the scale and exit for a life changing amount of money. Typically you'll have a sales team, marketing team, development team, media team, operations team, customer success team and admin team. Each of these teams will typically be 2-8 people. What's your goal for building a team this year?

"If you master lead generation, you'll be able to fix everything else. If you've got hundreds of leads coming in, you're going to be able to make sales. You're going to be able to pick and choose the best clients. You're going to be able to recruit amazing people. You're going to be able to get investors." Our CEO Daniel Priestley was invited for another conversation with Chris D on his podcast, to discuss the best strategies for generating high-quality leads. The key strategies discussed can help you to: - Position yourself as high value so you can charge premium prices - Create urgency so that your leads turn into buyers sooner - Deliver real value to your audience so they feel lucky to work with you To listen to the conversation, click the link in our bio.
