Calling all innovators, healthcare professionals, health and social care practitioners, entrepreneurs and anyone interested in the connection between our health and the health of our planet! The wonderfully talented Paul Rodgers and team behind Design HOPES (Healthy Organisations in a Place-based Ecosystem, Scotland) are bringing their hugely successful V&A Dundee exhibition to the Technology & Innovation Centre at University of Strathclyde and there are still some tickets remaining for the preview night! The exhibition explores the idea that the climate emergency is a health emergency. Design HOPES is creating, prototyping and testing the tools, behaviours and systems needed to meet, and move beyond, urgent Net Zero goals.     This work-in-progress display marks an exciting milestone in the first year of Design HOPES, giving an insight into the people, processes and progress of this transformational initiative, and asks ‘How can design help us live healthier lives, for people and planet?’ https://lnkd.in/euR-w865

📣✨Last few days! 🌿📣 Design HOPES work-in-progress display is heading in to its final weekend V&A Dundee … catch it while you can! The display provides an opportunity to engage with and explore the wide range of projects taking place within this exciting and innovative collaborative research initiative, and peak behind the scenes of a live design-research project. We’re also excited to say that we will be back at V&A Dundee in September with an expanded display, updating on further progress across all #designhopes activities, with lots of opportunities to dig deeper in to this exciting design-led research… In this short film, Laura MacLean (researcher Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management, University of Strathclyde ) talks alongside Rod Mountain of NHS Tayside and Christopher S.C Lim of DJCAD about the potential scales of impact of #designhopes, from the micro to the macro, the personal to the organisational, and how design-led research can unlock new opportunities in the journey to (and beyond) net zero for NHS Scotland.
