Meet the Design Museum’s 2024/25 Design Researchers in Residence 👏 The residents will spend the next year at the museum developing their innovative projects, responding to the theme ‘Artificial’. This year’s researchers are Christie Swallow, Hani Salih, Laura Lebeau and Neba Sere. They will be investigating ways in which design can explore the limits of human-centred design in a more-than-human climate crisis. Their projects cover everything from the logic systems in national planning, to the colonialisation of plant species. The programme will culminate in a publication and free public display at the Design Museum in June 2025. The residency forms part of #FutureObservatory, the Design Museum’s national research programme for the green transition, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
