Devereaux Solicitors is a young and dynamic firm established in 2005 which undertakes predominantly high level complex commercial and civil litigation matters. The firm also undertakes white collar crime, fraud, asset recovery and matters concerning the Proceeds of Crime Act and matrimonial disputes and resolution. On the non-litigation side, the firm undertakes residential and commercial conveyancing. No case is too large and no case is too small. Based in Chancery Lane, the firm is easily accessible to most and has a good network of specialist barristers which the firm uses. The principal, John Ioannou, admitted as solicitor in 1987 having undertaken his articles in large London firm and having practised in London and Melbourne, Australia, where he is also admitted to practise in Victoria, has worked for various law firms before setting up on his own. His approach to litigation is “problem solving” and trying to achieve a resolution whether acting for a Claimant or Defendant.
