FCA SDR Update We were pleased to see the UK Financial Conduct Authority introduce temporary measures for firms compliance with its Sustainability Disclosure Requirements (SDR) Naming and Marketing Rules today (09/09). This comes following industry calls for guidance and clarity around the date effective for the Naming and Marketing Rules of 2nd December 2024, which has proven more difficult than originally anticipated for firms. In response to this, the Financial Conduct Authority has offered limited temporary flexibility for firms to comply with the Naming and Marketing Rules, with a 4-month extension to 2nd April 2025 at 5pm. This flexibility applies to the following criteria: . Firms have submitted a completed application for approval of amended disclosures in line with ESG 5.3.2R for the respective fund (for a Sustainability label) by 1st October 2024 at 5pm and: . Firms currently using one or more of the terms "Sustainable", "Sustainability", "Impact", or a variation of these terms in the name of that fund and is intending to use a label, or to change the name of that fund. These temporary measures do not apply to funds which use other sustainability terms in their names that are not specified above, and firms should ensure they continue to apply to all other relevant SDR rules. For authorisations or mergers, wind-ups or terminations before 2nd December 2024, the Financial Conduct Authority has stated that they will take a supportive, proportionate and outcomes-based approach for these circumstances. 🎉 Cheers to 5 Years of Devlin Mambo! 🎉 Yesterday, we celebrated our 5-year anniversary with an unforgettable afternoon and evening as a team. We kicked things off in the quirky and highly recommended "Monkey Business" meeting space at Crown-Collection (if you're in Edinburgh and need a meeting spot, it's worth checking out!). We spent a great afternoon reflecting on our incredible journey and all that we've accomplished together. Naturally, the celebrations wouldn't be complete without some cake and fizz to toast our cheers to 5 years! 🥂🍰 And since we love a bit of healthy competition, we moved on to Flight Club Edinburgh for a fun darts challenge 🎯 and wrapped up the day with a fantastic dinner at one of our favourite Edinburgh restaurants (Fishers in the City) which never disappoints! A superb day from start to finish! 👌🏻 A huge thank you to our amazing team for their hard work and dedication over the years.
