Since expanding to the North American market in early 2024, Dexory has deployed solutions in six states. Our latest customer is Texas-based, The JAMCO Group, marking the first deployment of the technology in the “Lone Star State”. The team has traditionally been carrying out cycle counts manually across a 400,000 square foot site with 26,000 pallet locations. “We needed a solution that would provide us with data accuracy and that would be able to cope with sites that may be prone to floor imperfections. The Dexory robots are robust and durable and provide us with great accuracy for our cycle counts. We are able to have our cycle count done daily within a matter of hours and have rich, actionable insights at our disposal in real-time.” – Rolando Valdes Villarreal, Vice President of Information Technology at The JAMCO Group. One of the benefits from deploying DexoryView has been seen in employee safety. Designing a tall mechanical tower that extends and collapses whilst moving around a warehouse presented some tough challenges for our engineering team. ‘The first question we asked ourselves was how tall does the inventory robot's tower need to be?In the end, we opted for a tower with a minimum height of 3 m that could extend to 12 m, with a camera at the top to measure racks of 14 m.' – Peter Bushell, New Product Development Lead at Dexory. Digital twins is not just about creating a digital copy of your warehouse. For us, it's really about creating a platform where you can update valuable information about your inventory stock, space occupation and more – on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times a day. Especially if you operate with many different sites. Sometimes your customers don't have a detailed knowledge of which products are in which countries or the turnover rate of products in site A versus site B. Having all that data in one platform takes it a step further. You are able to look at the data in the twin and see, for instance, that product A is moving really fast in site one but not in site two, so you can then balance stock accordingly. #digitaltwin #warehousemanagement #logistics
