🤏 A “pinch me” moment helping Olivia Dean, one of our favorite artists here at DICE! 💜 Olivia Dean’s team used DICE Extras to sell merch at her pop-up and improve their fans' shopping experience. Extras boosted sales of her merch by 50% 👕📈 during her three sold-out shows at Eventim Apollo as part of her “Messy Tour 2024”. Olivia’s manager, Emily Braham, shared: “It’s so great to see DICE expanding their offering to include merch and other Extras. For us, fan experience is paramount, so their ability to speak directly with fans is very valuable. It gives artists more access and control to their business and much-needed additional revenue. We’re excited to grow more experiences with DICE.” DICE is more than just ticketing. Our brand new 'Extras' product directly helps event creators and artists sell products and experiences alongside their DICE events, forming deeper ways for fans to connect with their favorite artists and shows. 💰With DICE Extras, artists can sell everything. Artists are selling experiential add-ons like meet & greets, soundcheck access, after-parties, and backstage access. And, artists like Olivia Dean are selling merch & memorabilia, including clothing, CDs/vinyl, and signed goods. DICE Extras is here to help artists connect with fans like never before—with pop-up shops, flexible delivery options, and a smooth experience for everyone. We’re proud to support and empower artists, big and small, helping them grow their earnings along the way while giving fans a stronger on-site experience. 📢 Calling Artist Teams & Event Organizers 📢 Want to sell with Extras at your Events? Over the past three months, with the support of our DEI team, our Pride365 Employee Community Group (ECG) curated a series of exciting events to celebrate Pride and foster inclusivity across our global offices. From Pride-themed breakfasts supporting local LGBTQIA+ food vendors 🥞 to a Queer Culture Club where we watched Breakfast on Pluto (a film that beautifully explores identity, love, and resilience) 🎬, and Pride parties at our London and New York offices 🪩, these moments brought us together and encouraged everyone to be their authentic selves. A huge thank you to our Pride365 ECG for creating these safe spaces for us to come together, learn, and celebrate! ✨ DICE’s Head of Partnership Operations and Chair Lead of the Pride365 ECG, Corrie McLean, noted the impact and importance of the past three months: “After one of our PRIDE 365 events during our Pride season, a fairly new DICE team member pulled me aside afterwards to thank us for putting the event together. They were worried about being accepted in a new workplace and finding ‘their people,’ and this was the first chance they had to meet others outside of their small team and connect about being queer. They were grateful and visibly emotional — it is that very sense of belonging and connection that we hope to achieve everyday, so it left a lasting impression and fueled my fire even more.” ❤️ 🏳️🌈 #DEI #Pride #ECG

The Oasis reunion tour is massive news for fans, but how will it affect the larger live industry? 💭 Andrew Foggin, DICE's Global Head of Music, tells Billboard: “These high profile, beloved artists serve as a catalyst to get people out more. They don’t just draw crowds to massive stadium events, but they also remind people what makes live music so special, creating benefits for the rest of the industry.” Read more about the "supersonic boost" here 💥 ➡ https://lnkd.in/grkZHCxW #touring #liveevents #livemusic

Our CBO Katie Soo spoke with Bloomberg about how more than half of DICE users in the US said they would happily go to a gig or festival just for the ✨ vibes ✨ “We’ve been seeing this rise of so-called ‘vibe hunters.’ It’s a lot of this behavior where people want to go out and have a shared, community-oriented experience that allows them to be in each other’s company.” 🎶 👥 Read more below ⬇👇 #ExperienceEconomy #Community #LiveMusic #GoodVibes https://lnkd.in/ekKt7uBF

In celebration and honor of Juneteenth, we're delighted to share DICE's DEI Program Manager Nzingha Crusoe's reflections and cultural insights on the holiday. 🖤 What does Juneteenth mean to you?  Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom and resilience. This holiday fills me with immense pride in my heritage, offering a moment to honor my ancestors who endured hardships, persevered, and established the foundation upon which I thrive today. My career in DEI is a year-round, lifelong tribute to advancing the legacy of their work. 🎉 How do you celebrate Juneteenth?  I celebrate Juneteenth by being "OUTSIDE." While "outside" has become urban slang, for me, it signifies taking up space and expressing myself in the most joyous and liberated way. In New York City, Juneteenth is an exhilarating time. It has evolved into more than just a day; it's a week-long celebration filled with events and opportunities to get out more. You can find me at The SoapBox Presents this week! If you’re in London, check out this great event from Everyday People this Sunday. https://bit.ly/3KQK9AU Besides attending events, another meaningful way to celebrate Juneteenth is by supporting Black-owned businesses. Food plays a central role in Black culture, serving not only as nourishment but also as a means of fostering community and fellowship. Personally, I try to stick to a primarily plant-based diet. Here are a few Black-owned, plant-based restaurants in NYC that you might want to try: HAAM, Aunts et Uncles, Ras Plant, Black Rican Vegan, Cloudy Donut Co. 🎵 Playlist Recommendation: In 2021, the Biden administration declared Juneteenth a national holiday. As conversations about race and violence against Black individuals in America were prominent, I aimed to create a space for my peers, particularly Employee Community Group (ECG) members, to move beyond trauma and embrace the celebration of the multifaceted identity and experiences of Black Americans. One way I did this was through music. I see music as a powerful form of storytelling and education, so I curated a playlist featuring artists like Beyoncé, Bob Marley, Tupac, Sam Cooke, and many more. This playlist was designed to capture the diverse stories and emotions that reflect the experiences of descendants of the African diaspora in America. https://spoti.fi/3RApXXz 💡 Health Awareness & Podcast Spotlight: One of my favorite podcasts, which I began listening to in 2020 to stay sane during the pandemic, is Black History Bootcamp. Hosted by GirlTrek founders Vanessa and Morgan, this podcast encourages listeners to walk while tuning in, aligning with their mission of walking towards healing and liberation. GirlTrek is more than just a podcast; it's a health revolution for Black women. Final Thoughts… Juneteenth is a time to reflect on America’s history, but use this day as a celebration of triumph and victory. Find joy in liberation and let our excellence be the movement. ✊🏿 #Juneteenth #DEI
