    Approximately 1 in 6 people have some kind of disability, that's 1.3 billion people!! Here are 5 TOP tips to make your content more accessible & inclusive for ALL 👇🎨 🌵 Add meaningful alt text for screen readers! Think about YOUR reaction to the image & use key details to paint a picture! Describe if it's a photo, illustration or screenshot, relay all the text & highlight colours & patterns. DON'T use alt text as a meme or sales tool!! ❌ 🌵 Add easy-to-read closed captions to videos! Up to 92% of viewers watch videos with the sound OFF on mobiles & 80% of viewers are more likely to finish a video with subtitles found in a study from Verizon!! So ADD CLOSED CAPTIONS 👏 🌵 Check the colour contrast before posting! Aim to have higher contrasting colours in your content to reduce as much visual limitation as possible!! This is HUGE as it's another avenue to highlight your brand or products when working with creators!! 👏 👍 YouTube added likes & replies for Super Chats to give communities a way to recognise & engage with each other when members support with a Super Chat purchase 🫶 🗺️ Instagram is testing a Friend Map feature where you can post text & video updates to a map that's shared with a select group of friends! This could be great for highlighting product launches, exclusive events or engaging partnerships for your audience! 🌍 👀 YouTube discovered that 79% of users prefer fewer but longer adverts, compared to lots of short adverts. What are the chances they put it behind X Premium though? 😅 📈 Threads hit 200M monthly active users! They're absolutely crushing it with listening to users' feedback & adding updates 💪 🔎 Speaking of, Threads is working on an Advanced Search feature to make it easier to find posts from specific dates & profiles! Detective mode: activated 🕵️♀️ 📝 Instagram Notes are becoming even more popular, so they're testing a new feed filter called "Notes" in the Reels tab!
