Our crematoriums across mainland Great Britain don't just offer dignified funerals but are also meaningful places for remembrance. We can arrange a scattering or burial of the ashes for family and friends to attend. Or, if preferred, we can scatter the ashes in the Gardens of Remembrance without mourners present. We welcome families to return in the future to visit the peaceful grounds or attend a remembrance service to feel close to their loved ones.

"For me, the funeral ceremony itself isn’t nearly as important as going beyond it and ensuring that a loved one who has passed on is actively remembered. A life well lived is to be celebrated, cherished, and commemorated." TV presenter Sue Cook, who appears in our adverts, shares her views on commemorating a life well lived and the role that simplified funerals play. https://lnkd.in/eMqv5xQ4

🌱 At Distinct Cremations, as part of the Westerleigh Group, sustainability is extremely important to us. We strive to make our crematoriums as energy-efficient as possible - so much so that we aim to achieve net zero by 2032. We are also focused on reducing air pollution via mercury and nitrogen oxide abatement. Our grounds promote biodiversity with woodlands, wildflower meadows, beehives, bug hotels, living roofs and plants chosen to complement the natural surroundings.

⭐ Another fantastic review - thank you to Katie for taking the time to tell us about your experience and to our funeral arrangers for your unwavering professionalism and empathy. Families often tell us how much music plays a meaningful part in saying goodbye. That's why at all of our cremations, even direct cremations, families can choose personal music to be played in the chapel in memory of their loved ones.
