Congratulations to our very own Sharon Lai for helping to organise the Mulan Foundation Awards Ceremony 2024! The Mulan Foundation is a charity which seeks to recognise and honour the achievements of women of Chinese heritage in the UK. Sharon acts as Trustee and Company Secretary. The event took place on 17th October 2024 and was a success, both in terms of fundraising and attendance. Well done to Sharon!

We are delighted to announce that Richard Wilkin has joined DKLM as a Senior Associate in our Commercial Property team. Richard joins the firm with over 10 years' post qualification experience as a Solicitor and a strong background in dealing with a range of commercial property matters. Welcome to the firm, Richard!

Preena Shah has been appointed Head of Commercial Property at DKLM. This appointment is in recognition of the fact that Preena is an excellent Solicitor who both clients and colleagues value highly. We are pleased to announce that we have now completed the move to our new office at 53 New Broad Street, London EC2M 1JJ. The office will remain closed to clients and staff this week whilst we unpack, but we cannot wait for you all to see it!

We are pleased to announce that, with effect from 16th September 2024, DKLM will moving from our current office to 53 New Broad Street, London EC2M 1JJ. DKLM have been at Cranwood Street since we were formed in 2004 and the office has served us very well over the years, so to some extent it will be sad to leave, but we all feel very positive about the change and hope that it will provide a happy environment to both clients and staff for many years to come. We will notify clients and professional contacts once the move has taken place.

We would like to extend our warm congratulations to our very own Dhiren Unadkat for completing the London Summer Walk on Saturday. We are sad to announce that our Managing Partner, Jeremy Kleinfeld, has stepped down from his role at the firm. Jeremy took on the Managing Partner role nearly 5 years ago and in that time has had to contend with the COVID pandemic and the changes to working practices that brought. Nonetheless, under Jeremy's stewardship, the firm weathered the storm and has even grown in the period that followed. We wish to record our thanks to Jeremy for his sterling work. Jeremy remains with the firm as a Consultant and is replaced in the role as Managing Partner by Adam Keeble. Adam has been at DKLM since 2010 and has been a Partner in the Commercial Property Team since 2016. We wish Adam well in his new role.
