We are sad to announce that our Managing Partner, Jeremy Kleinfeld, has stepped down from his role at the firm. Jeremy took on the Managing Partner role nearly 5 years ago and in that time has had to contend with the COVID pandemic and the changes to working practices that brought. Nonetheless, under Jeremy's stewardship, the firm weathered the storm and has even grown in the period that followed. We wish to record our thanks to Jeremy for his sterling work. Jeremy remains with the firm as a Consultant and is replaced in the role as Managing Partner by Adam Keeble. Adam has been at DKLM since 2010 and has been a Partner in the Commercial Property Team since 2016. We wish Adam well in his new role.

Some of the team at DKLM LLP will be walking with the Lady Chief Justice and a number of lawyers to raise funds for the London Legal Support Trust on Tuesday 18th June. The funding gap for legal advice has almost doubled to over £30 million in the UK and free legal advice providers are struggling, with the growing need from their clients. Many people cannot afford legal support and without more being done, they will go without justice when they need it most. I recently posted my opinion that speed in the bridging arena should not be a USP, but something that is a given I happy to back this up following a recent completion which demonstrated absolute collaboration between TAB, Strategy Finance & DKLM LLP I met with Alp Ceylan and Serkan Ugurlu for a breakfast meeting and was presented with an opportunity to highlight the desire, speed, focus and determination of the team to achieve the 2 week completion deadline with which we were presented - details as follows: ✴ Enquiry submitted to TAB immediately following the meeting, Day 1 ✴ Terms issued, Terms Accepted and Application received, Day 2 ✴ Legals instructed, Day 2 ✴ U/W process begins and instruction for readdressed valuation issued ✴ Only 7 days in U/W ✴ Incredible and constant communication between all parties involved ✴ Deadline date achieved & loan funded This is teamwork. This is collaboration. This is what we do.
