About us
For Corporate & Workplace Gifts 📧 corporategifts@dontbuyherflowers.com For General Enquiries 📧 info@dontbuyherflowers.com To learn more about our thoughtful gifts visit our website www.dontbuyherflowers.com At Don’t Buy Her Flowers we ‘do’ thoughtful gifting for anyone who deserves some TLC. With 100s of products to choose from, Don’t Buy Her Flowers is set apart by ‘thoughtfulness’ and the fact that our customers can make a bespoke package that perfectly suits the person they are sending it to. When our founder Steph had her first baby she was inundated with beautiful bouquets and wondered why people give new mums another thing to care for when they’re doing more caring than they’ve ever done in their life... ‘When I had my first baby, I received lots of flowers yet I was feeling completely overwhelmed with everything – the baby, the visitors, the bodily functions – and trying to arrange flowers and then dispose of them was all a bit much, however pathetic that sounds. What I really wanted during that time was five minutes to myself, to drink a hot cup of tea, do something to soothe my weary body, or just to stuff my face with a biscuit or three! I found that other parents felt the same and that’s how Don’t Buy Her Flowers was born’ Don’t Buy Her Flowers launched in 2014, starting with just three packages. The business grew quickly and we now work with businesses on corporate gifting, and we’re very proud of our collaboration with Stand Up To Cancer on a bespoke package developed for anyone going through cancer and their loved ones. From the day we launched DBHF ‘thoughtfulness’ was at the heart of everything we did and that continues to be our focus and passion today. We emotionally connect with our customers by really understanding who they are and what they want.

In a survey by conducted by DBHF, 90% of respondents said their workplace could do better to connect with them. As remote and hybrid working models become the norm, it’s clear that building and maintaining meaningful connections is essential to keeping teams engaged and motivated. While remote work offers flexibility, it can sometimes lead to a sense of isolation. To overcome this, businesses need to be more intentional about connecting with their teams whether it's through regular check-ins, thoughtful gestures, or simply creating moments of genuine interaction. TW: Baby Loss When Steph Douglas started Don’t Buy Her Flowers back in 2014, bereavement wasn’t initially something she’d considered. Customers started to send gifts to offer comfort in grief, and then when Jen, Founder of Baby Loss charity Teddy's Wish got in touch to create something specifically to send out to bereaved parents, it felt right. It made sense to work with experts who understood what might work in a care package for someone going through an incredibly tough time, and we’re proud to have been working with Jen since 2020. In our blog, Steph and Jennifer Reid catch up and chat through how the collaboration came about. Read the article: https://bit.ly/4gUNgpY #Bereavement #CarePackage

When it comes to corporate gifting, personalisation makes all the difference. 80% of those we surveyed who received a gift card or voucher said their employer hadn’t thought about them as an individual. Similarly, sending a hamper full of sweet treats to someone who is diabetic, or alcohol to someone who doesn’t drink can easily miss the mark. But, when you pay attention to these details, the gesture becomes much more meaningful. If your team has worked hard and deserves some TLC over the Christmas break, consider a bespoke gift package full of thoughtful items to help them relax and recharge. Bespoke gifting is what we do best. Whether you're ordering for 10 or 1,000 recipients, we tailor each gift to suit the individual, including personal messages that make every recipient feel valued. Ready to create thoughtful gifts that make an impact? Our team are ready to hear from you: https://bit.ly/3BihqmW #ChristmasGifts
