Without doubt, this was one of the most challenging briefs we’ve tackled. Not only was it a very difficult subject area to address, but we felt under immense pressure to get it right as unfortunately too many people and families suffer the consequences of gambling harms. Collaborating closely with the team at GMCA - and long-term agency partner, Doodledo - we were able to produce a highly impactful and successful campaign! The outcome: 🟡 500% increase in views of GMCA's gambling treatment and support webpages 🟡 260,000+ online engagements 🟡 Record referrals to the Northern Gambling Service 🟡 And CIPR NW Pride Silver Award for 'Public Sector Campaign of the Year'. Purpose is a powerful motivator, and making a meaningful difference to road safety has always been something that keeps us striving for better at IMS. I spent this morning with Kam, one of the three co-founders of Trak Global (the forerunner to IMS) whose story of devastating personal loss will forever be part of our DNA. And whilst it never gets easier to hear Kam tell his story, it reminds us of why we do what we do, and care so deeply about using technology as a force for good.
