At The Drum's Media Awards this week, our Bonjour, Hallo, Ciao, Hola & Namaste: Pioneering the Elizabeth Line's Multilingual Welcome campaign for TfL with GroupM, Wavemaker, VCCP, and Extime JCDecaux Airport took home two golds! The campaign won gold in both the ‘Innovation or Disruption in Media’ category and the ‘Media Campaign (under $250k)’. Not only this, but this innovative campaign took home the Chair’s Award. We are so honoured by this recognition for the TfL campaign, as it has continued to soar to heights we never imagined. This follows last week’s The Drum awards for Advertising, where this very campaign took home another gold in the ‘Innovation’ category. At this year’s Drum Awards Festival, we have also taken home: 🏅Silver and bronze in ‘Dynamic and Interactive Digital Screens’ and ‘Digital OOH’ for our Coca-Cola #TakeATaste Virtual Vending Machine with EssenceMediacom UK, savi UK and Studio Dialect 🏅 Bronze in ‘3D DOOH’ for Magnum Fantasia: Wherever Pleasure Takes You with Golin, LOLA MullenLowe, Mindshare UK, GroupM, PHD-, U Studio and Hot Pickle. A historic transformation at Piccadilly Lights! 🌟 In this industry-first campaign, the famous lights of Piccadilly transform into a magnificent stone patchwork featuring ads from Gladiator II, Samsung Electronics UK, Trainline, TK MAXX, and the LEGO Group. Each brand showcases its adverts reimagined in the style of Roman AD 211, complete with intricately “hand carved” stone bas relief, echoing the art form of the era. Conceived by our very own Creative Director, Becky Power, speaking about this campaign she comments, “Iconic movies like Gladiator II don’t come along very often and we’re delighted that our work can be a part of its story. It’s been such a great experience working alongside the brands who embraced the idea of taking their ads back to 211, with the talented artists who have beautifully ‘sculpted’ Piccadilly Lights from stone, and with Paramount and Wavemaker who have been generous collaborators from beginning to end.” This campaign required unprecedented tenacity from Wavemaker, Ocean Outdoor, and our own team as well as a herculean effort to align the hearts and minds of senior leaders across four brands, ensuring they joined us on this journey. Watch this space as more on this groundbreaking campaign will be revealed in time. The dedication to this project and the collaboration between both brands and partners is something that has never been seen in our space before. This monumental project is a result of teamwork with Paramount Pictures, Wavemaker, GroupM OOH, Ocean Outdoor, Mindshare UK, Starcom, and Cheil Worldwide.

Today we celebrate Neil McKenney’s 10th Anniversary at DOOH.com! 🎉 We’re incredibly proud to recognise Neil McKenney for reaching an incredible milestone— not too far after our own company anniversary! Starting out as DOOH.com’s first official employee in 2014, Neil has since been instrumental in shaping the direction of DOOH.com. His recent rise to COO in November 2023 is a testament to his unwavering commitment to driving our business forward, both in the UK and globally. Neil’s dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace has had a lasting impact on our team and culture. From leading and supporting our team through Covid, to constantly advocating for diversity is something we admire and appreciate deeply. From our very own CEO, Andrew Newman (he/him): “Neil is the ying to my yang. He is a no-nonsense kind of person—meticulous, with a strong sense of right and wrong and uncompromising standards. I, on the other hand, thrive on risk, making quick decisions and not always as organised.
