Inspired by Southern Californian modernism, Lars fulfilled his dream of creating a Californian-style oasis in Germany. With the help of renowned American architect Ray Kappe, this house became a reality, and the story behind it is nothing short of remarkable. We’ll share more soon - stay tuned! Located in a beautiful apartment in the city of Zug, Switzerland, the centerpiece features exquisite Emperador marble sinks, whose rich, natural veining provides a striking contrast against the sleek, seamless surfaces. Complementing the marble’s organic texture is the VAIA design faucet in Brushed Bronze, a perfect fusion of classic elegance and modern minimalism. The warm tones of the bronze bathroom faucet bring out the depth of the marble, creating a cohesive and refined atmosphere. This event marked the North American debut of our innovative product, showcasing the perfect harmony between water and design. Guests were captivated by AQUAHALO’s unique water jet options - Aquacircle, Tempest, and Diamond Rain - while connecting with the Dornbracht team and enjoying a memorable evening. The event featured a curated selection of German wine, beer, hors d'oeuvres, and entertainment, all set against the stunning backdrop of design excellence. Adding a creative twist, digital artists were on hand to sketch guests under their chosen water jet, offering a personalized memento of the night. Celebrating architectural heritage in Palma: insights from Can Santacilia Last week in Palma de Mallorca, Dornbracht and Duran hosted the third session of the "Architectural Interventions in Spaces with Heritage Value" series. This event provided us with an exceptional opportunity to explore the award-winning historic building of Can Santacilia, masterfully rehabilitated by the talented team at OHLAB, where Dornbracht design faucets have been elegantly integrated. A special thanks to Paloma Hernaiz and Jaime Oliver, co-founders of OHLAB, for guiding us through the innovative strategies used to preserve the heritage character of the building while adapting it to modern residential needs. Their insights truly captured the delicate balance between tradition and contemporary design. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the residents of Can Santacilia for welcoming us into their homes, and to the architecture and design studios who joined us in this enriching dialogue. The exchange of ideas during the debate and cocktail reception was a testament to the importance of maintaining the soul of a space in restoration projects. The perfectly organized event brought together industry leaders, designers, and creatives to explore the latest trends shaping our spaces. A key highlight for Dornbracht was our colleague, Sascha Bialoian (Head of Global Channel Management), taking part in an insightful panel discussion on the third and final day. Together with renowned panelists like Olly Bray, Patricia Bustos de la Torre, and Tom Faulkner, and moderated by Max Fraser, the round table focused on “Quiet Luxury: Trend or Timeless?” This concept is deeply embedded in Dornbracht’s DNA: Our approach focuses on the use of high-quality, carefully sourced materials that not only reflect premium craftsmanship but also prioritize sustainability through local sourcing.
