Dragon Drilling are one of the largest Environmental Drilling companies in the UK and operate a fleet of 12 specialist drilling rigs. We specialise in the drilling of boreholes for Ground source heating, Water abstraction, Site investigation and Monitoring. We also have a Landfill drilling division specialising in Gas and Leachate boreholes. Additional services include Commercial and Domestic Water distribution systems, Water filtration and Treatment. We have a retail shop at our offices providing customers with Pumps, Pipework, Compression fittings, Filters and Tools to name but a few.

    🚨 WE ARE HIRING 🚨 Due to rapidly increasing workloads, Dragon Drilling are looking to expand our maintenance department. As a plant fitter within the Organisation you will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in day to day remedial and preventative work on drilling rigs and associated plant. The work will involve working on both domestic and commercial landfill sites throughout the country. Role - • Supporting the maintenance manager in the repair and upkeep of drilling rigs and associated plant. • Most work is around the North Wales area but there will be work away on landfill sites throughout the country. • Working pattern – Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:00. • Working outside in all weather conditions including work on landfill sites nationwide. • Following company method statements and risk assessments. Required experience: • Proven experience working as a plant fitter / mechanic (ideally at least 3 years). • Relevant mechanical qualifications such as City and Guilds, National Diploma etc. • Must be able to work under own initiative and under pressure. • Knowledge of hydraulic systems. • Knowledge of electrical systems. Required license or certification: • Full UK Driving license. • CSCS and NPORS preferred. Salary range – £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.
