Welcome to Andrew Dreaneen who joins us as Global Head of Natural Capital. The newly created role has been formed to elevate our ambition to offer a global platform of natural capital strategies focussing on commercial forestry, rural land management and nature-based solutions. Andrew will be working with Savills UK’s existing rural advisory practice. Savills UK was founded in 1855 as a rural practice and expanded into residential estate agency and commercial advisory. The rural business remains a key division with over 790 dedicated professionals across 34 UK offices. Andrew joins us from Schroders where his role covered primary fund investments in forestry, farmland and conservation-based strategies as well as direct investments in natural climate solutions and carbon markets.
