Last week, we thoroughly enjoyed a fascinating and well-informed ThoughtLeaders4 webinar on the state of the UK class action regime, featuring Chris Ford, Dr. Robert Scherf, Samuel Marden, Simon Latham and Stephanie Stocker. The panel considered the strengths of UK class actions when compared to the US or other European regimes, and how judicial attitudes are shifting towards the CAT as an effective mechanism to deliver redress to claimants. Topics included: ▶ How the UK regime’s narrow competition footing compares to the variety of class actions being processed on the continent ▶ An evolving post-PACCAR landscape for funders and claimants ▶ The KPIs of an effective and sustainable class action regime Lawyers, funders and claimants will be closely watching for more precedent and clarity as more cases progress through the CAT, and any indication on whether the Government will reintroduce the Litigation Funding Agreements Bill before next summer. https://lnkd.in/dPtgk8fy #Classactions #Collectiveredress #UKLaw #Strategiccommunications #Litigationtrends
