As part of our recent investments, a drum pulper arrived at Kemsley Paper Mill after travelling halfway across the globe. Two large cranes were used to raise it onto its foundations. Building on its long-term business plan, Kemsley Mill has created a stock preparation strategy that will help us meet our sustainability goals. The strategy will include the building of a state-of-the-art line, incorporating a new water recovery system, a drum pulping system, and screening to eliminate contaminants. We are delighted to have once again won the Slovenian Packaging Oscar for our sustainable Automotive packaging solution. This award was given for our excellent packaging solution, "Protection for Car Wheel Carriers," designed by our packaging designer, Miha Toplišek. In addition to using renewable materials, it stands out for its optimal space utilisation, easy assembly, and the possibility of reuse or recycling after use. Excited to announce our partnership with Versuni to create sustainable packaging for their Philips Baristina coffee machine. The concept was expertly designed by the experienced teams at DS Smith and Versuni to create a captivating ‘unboxing’ experience. The coffee machine is elegantly presented at the centre, allowing consumers to immediately connect with the bold visuals and captivating artwork when browsing in-store or online.
